Monday Girl is teaming up with DoorDash to launch the Made by Women Grants, awarding $10,000 CAD grants to 15 women-owned restaurants to support the growth of their business. We’re committed to providing opportunities that help level the playing field for women chefs and restaurateurs and inspire and empower the next generations of women entrepreneurs in the restaurant industry.
Made by Women - part of DoorDash’s Entrepreneurship & Access program - celebrates what women in the restaurant industry bring to the table and provides resources, support, and amplification opportunities to support women-owned restaurants.

The Made by Women Grant program will award fifteen (15) women-owned restaurants a $10,000 CAD grant to help support the growth of their business.
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a majority (>75%) women-owned restaurant
- Be incorporated and in good standing under a relevant federal or provincial corporate statute
- Be registered with the Canada Revenue Agency and provide proof of valid business number
- Not be bankrupt or subject to a consumer proposal plan
- Have a web presence (social media acceptable)
- Have between 1 and 3 physical locations in Canada, each of which are open for at least 6 months of the year
- Have 50 or fewer employees per location

In order to apply, each applicant must submit a completed application and:
Be a majority (>75%) women-owned restaurant
Be incorporated and in good standing under a relevant federal or provincial corporate statute

The Monday Girl x DoorDash Made by Women Grant applications will be reviewed by a panel of Monday Girl and DoorDash founders, mentors, and colleagues in the restaurant and entrepreneurship space.
Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria:
Quality and Thoughtfulness of Application: 55%
Initiative, Personal Mission, and Values: 20%
Plan for how you will use the grant 25%
Decisions on whom to award the grants to are subjective and final.
